Delivery, returns and exchanges

At Maison Bubbé, each piece of jewellery is made to order, with meticulous attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. Below you will find information regarding the order fulfilment process, delivery, returns and exchanges.

Delivery

The standard order fulfilment time is approximately 2 weeks. During periods of high order volume, especially during the holiday season, fulfilment times may be extended.

Order fulfilment time includes the time required to prepare the product before shipping. Delivery time is additional and depends on the destination country and the selected shipping method.

Shipping and tracking

Available shipping methods, their costs, and estimated delivery times are presented during checkout and may vary depending on the destination country.

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation containing delivery information.

We ship orders to the countries available for selection during checkout.

Returns

We want shopping at Maison Bubbé to be a conscious and satisfying choice. Our return policy distinguishes between products covered by the standard right of withdrawal and selected rings, the production of which in a specific size requires individual design changes.

Standard right of withdrawal

For online purchases covered by this right, consumers generally have 14 days from receipt of the order to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason, subject to the exceptions provided for by applicable law.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, inform us of your decision by email before the relevant deadline. Then return the product within 14 days from the day you informed us of the withdrawal.

The consumer bears the direct cost of returning the product.

Please handle the returned product with care. The consumer may be held liable for any reduction in the product's value resulting from handling it in a manner exceeding what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning.

Refund

In the event of a valid withdrawal from the contract, we will refund the payments required by applicable law.

The refund will be made within the statutory period. We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned product.

Custom-made rings requiring design changes

Some rings, including signet rings and other models whose appearance depends on the proportions of the top part of the ring, require individual design changes if ordered in sizes outside our standard range of EU sizes 10–17.

Information on which specific models this requirement applies to can be found in the descriptions of the individual products.

Due to the distinctive construction and proportions of these models, adapting them to smaller or larger sizes may require changing the dimensions and proportions of the ring itself. Such modifications go beyond simply enlarging or reducing a finished product. The ring must be individually redesigned and made from scratch to preserve the character, balance, and aesthetics of the original design while adapting it to the ordered size.

Because making such rings requires an individual design developed according to the customer's specifications, they may be subject to the statutory exception to the right of withdrawal regarding non-prefabricated goods produced according to the consumer's specifications or intended to satisfy their individualized needs, in accordance with applicable law.

If a product meets the conditions of this exception, the right of withdrawal due to a change of mind or the selection of the wrong size does not apply. This exception does not limit the consumer's statutory rights if the product is defective or does not conform to the order.

Exchanges

If you need a different ring size or would like to discuss the possibility of exchanging a product, contact us at maisonbubbe@gmail.com.

Because all our jewelry is made to order, the possibility of exchange depends on the availability of the given model and the requirements associated with its production. We consider each request individually and inform you of the available solutions.

For products covered by the statutory right of withdrawal, the exchange policy does not replace or limit this right.

For rings requiring individual design changes, a return due to a change of mind may not be possible if the statutory exception described above applies. If you have questions about the size or design of a specific model, contact us before placing your order.

Damaged, defective, or non-conforming products

If the ordered product arrives damaged, has a manufacturing defect, or turns out to be non-conforming to the order, contact us at maisonbubbe@gmail.com.

Provide the order number and, if possible, attach photos showing the problem. We will review the request and help resolve the matter in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

Statutory consumer rights regarding defective or non-conforming products apply regardless of whether the product was made to order or individually customized to the customer's specifications.
